Gilgit- Baltistan Visits Pia Head Office
 Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Syed Mehdi Shah visited PIA Head Office
to discuss Airline Affairs and tourism prospects for Gilgit-Baltistan.
A meeting was held at the airlines head office attended by senior
officials.
Syed Mehdi Shah offered his full support to PIA for promoting tourism in
Gilgit - Baltistan. Director HR and Administration PIA, Mr. Haneef Pathan
while concurring with Syed Mehdi Shah offered the airline’s support in
promoting tourism for Gilgit - Baltistan.
Shifting of PIA Gilgit Booking Office at a more accessible and convenient
location preferably near Cantt. Area in the city, to facilitate passengers
was also discussed.
PIA is operating two daily flights five days a week. While, on Fridays and
Tuesdays the airline operates one daily flight to Gilgit.
Later, Chief Minister, Gilgit-Baltistan visited CBA and PIA Senior Staff
Association Offices and met the Presidents and office bearers of CBA and
PIASSA.
